Senior IT Support Engineer - Coventry

Senior IT Support Engineer with experience in Microsoft Server admin / maintenance, Office 365 and knowledge in Hyper-V or VMWare is required by an sample testing laboratory based in Coventry.

Other technologies such as CISCO Switches (Meraki) & Azure are advantageous. You should be passionate about IT support and be open to site visits in order to excel in this role.

Key skills the Senior IT Support Engineer will have:

• Experience 1st & 2nd line roles essential, ideally some basic 3rd line knowledge also
• Microsoft Server build, migration, and support experience
• Strong understanding of virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware) essential
• Proficient in technologies such as AD, Intune and O365.
• Azure, Exchange & SharePoint are desired.
• Cisco Switches experience (Meraki) would be useful as that is one project they are doing currently.
• Strong understanding of virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware) essential along with Cisco Switches experience (Meraki).
• Azure, Exchange & SharePoint are desired.
• Passion for onsite IT support 5 days a week in Coventry.
• Can travel to different sites when required.
• Great Communication skills.

The is a Senior IT Support Engineer role that requires strong IT skills for delivering support across many sites, along with hardware skills to install, support and maintain desktop / network devices. A passion for inhouse IT Support as you solve their support requests along with great communication skills to help everyone from graduate level to Directors. The ideal candidate is also open to travelling to other offices to support other sites.
