We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Senior Lead Practitioner to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School The Maples, IG11 7LQ .

The Role
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Chestnut Avenue is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm.
Requirements
The successful applicant will need to have
Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
Experience
Level 2/3 qualified
Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
Work well within a team
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent organisation skills and time-management
Key Duties
As a Senior Lead Practitioner your responsibilities are
Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
Promoting and supporting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Take necessary steps to safeguard all who access the setting, adhering to the safeguarding policy
Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
Flexible in working hours if required.
Support daily routines.
Follow policies and procedures.
Light cleaning duties.
Maintain a high level of supervision.
Maintain confidentiality.
