The Opportunity: You will contribute to teaching and develop curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise doctoral research students. You will develop independent research leading to outcomes, external funding, and partnerships, and take on leadership and citizenship roles in the School of Art and ECA. The postholder will be expected to be a practising artist with a recognised specialism and track record in Contemporary Art. The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of the theoretical and contextual dialogues within Contemporary Art Practice, and be able to communicate with students in a clear and engaging way. Your skills and attributes for success: Doctorate or equivalent level of research and/or professional practice High level knowledge of Contemporary Art Practice and Theory Experience of developing and managing significant research and teaching activities Ability to produce creative work at the highest level and to manage major research projects that address complex and pertinent research questions High level knowledge and experience of research, teaching and knowledge exchange within HE Click here to view a copy of the full job description
