Senior Lecturer In Fashion Public Relations And Communication

The opportunity  We are looking for an established industry-orientated practitioner to join the Fashion PR & Communication course as a Senior Lecturer in PR & Communication. As a Senior Lecturer on the course, you will be responsible for undertaking research applicable to the discipline, developing opportunities for working with industry and developing the curriculum in innovative and critical directions. You will be responsible for an undergraduate year group, providing excellent pastoral support and inspiring teaching that stimulates thought and practice and contributes to a positive student experience. The role also includes responsibility for actively contributing to working relationships with colleagues and projects across the Fashion Communication programme and School of Media and Communication. About you BA (Hons) Fashion PR & Communication is a well-established and highly regarded course, so you will need significant expertise to lead and build on its forward-thinking vision. You will be a critical practitioner who can guide students through this changing landscape. You will have experience of building relationships with relevant communities, leveraging culture to create innovative campaigns and fostering relationships between fashion and other creative industries. There is a rich ethos of knowledge exchange on the course, so you will have the ability to establish new and leverage extensive industry connections and networks to provide significant opportunities in the curriculum, particularly important in the context of LCF’s move to Stratford and the East Bank. Drawing on your experience, you will ensure we continue to innovate in teaching, learning support and assessment.
