We are looking to appoint at Senior Lecturer/Lecturer and Associate Professor level
Following significant investment by the university in the learning environment and the student experience, we are seeking to make further appointments to enhance our portfolio and to help drive our ambitious programme of strategic change. We are now seeking a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer for the MSc International Fashion programme to join this growing area of our university.
The role
Ravensbourne University London is seeking to recruit a dynamic, creative and innovative Senior Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of the new MSc International Fashion Marketing programme to be launched in January 2024. Our fashion focussed MSc programme delivers on the core subject of International Fashion Marketing but also on a broad range of practice and emergent processes in digital Fashion Marketing as well as innovation, collaboration and strategy through research and development, this will support and enhance the students’ journey into the next stage of their creative careers. The successful candidate will be part of the team to deliver, develop and contribute to the teaching of modules in this and related courses. The role involves planning, organisation and delivery. You will develop and use a variety of methods for teaching and assessment and provide support and feedback that is timely, relevant and appropriate.
The candidate
You will combine professional experience, academic rigour, and a strong understanding of current industry practice to create an excellent, inclusive learning environment for our students. The Senior Lecturer we are seeking will be highly motivated with extensive professional knowledge and experience of working within the International Fashion arena. The individual we are seeking will ideally hold a Phd in either a Business Marketing, Brand Management subject or MA / MSc related to Fashion, have industry contacts and develop new opportunities in the discipline. Our ideal candidate will also have the ability to undertake research and knowledge exchange activity and contribute to publishing the findings in internationally recognised journals.
