Based at our central support office in Newcastle, our Finance Team are dedicated to providing expert support and advice throughout Parkdean Resorts.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager this role has ownership of accounting for indirect costs whilst providing key financial information and insight to business stakeholders and maintaining a robust controls environment.

What you will be doing...
Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for Marketing and Repairs & Maintenance costs, including production of accruals & prepayments.
Line Management responsibility for one Direct Report.
Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of postings.
Managing weekly and month-end processes with specific responsibility to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
Main point of contact for Marketing, Web Dev, Partnerships teams, responsible for supporting with queries / requests.
Prepare supplementary monthly reporting for Fleet R&M, Direct Cost reclasses and Site Vehicles, engaging with relevant stakeholders.
Owner of relevant nominals within the Planning and Budgeting process.
Provide regular and ad-hoc management reporting and analysis for decision making.
Completion of and reviewing Balance Sheet Reconciliation including owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.
Design and embed processes to drive accountability and action around the reduction of re-class journals.
Work with business stakeholders and the P2P team to improve the understanding of and visibility of GRNI.
Responding to Audit requests during the year end process.
Carry out continuous reviews of work practices to ensure efficient and cost effective operations, suggesting improvements where required.
Some of the skills and experience we are looking for:
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience of multi-site or similar size business
Experience of supporting operational teams
Sun systems knowledge preferred
Experience of Microsoft packages
Experience of driving process improvement and working in a fast-paced environment
