Payroll Assistant - Permanent

One of our schools in Southport is looking to appoint a detailed oriented Payroll Assistanton a Permanent basis.

This role will focus on maintaining an accurate pupil database for staff, parents / carers and external agencies

About the role:

Based in Southport:

• Responsible for assisting in the preparation and processing of payrolls
• Ensuring accuracy, punctuality and compliance with legislation, employing conditions of service
• Adhering to the finance regulations of Southport Education Group
• Being a point of contact for any queries or issues and resolving or escalating as needed

About you:

You will have the following skillsets or experiences:

• You will need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• You will be able to use your own initiative to solve problems and can work effectively as part of a team
• Previous payroll or administrative experience is essential

You must have an Enhanced DBS to apply for this role, if you do not have one you will be asked to apply for one
