With a remarkable 40% year-on-year growth, they seek a talented and proactive Senior Management Accountant to join the Finance Team in Burton-on-Trent.

This is a pivotal role for a Management Accountant to contribute to the success of the Finance Team. While we primarily seek financial expertise, a proactive, hands-on approach is essential due to the collaborative nature of the close-knit team. The role will be responsible for overseeing all of operational finance, Management reporting and financialcompliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Support:
- Collaborate closely with the UK Finance Director to align with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support organisational performance through monitoring financial indicators.
Corporate and Business Reporting:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Assist in decision-making by providing insights into performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Process Financial Data:
- Prepare monthly management accounts packs, regular management information, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Manage cash flow and provide forecasting to management.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of monthly books of account and GL for statutory and management reporting.
- Maintain standardisation, P&L, and Balance Sheet formats across all legal entities.
Governance, Risk and Control:
- Identify and manage risks appropriately.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Ethics and Professionalism:
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Exhibit personal effectiveness in fast-changing environments.
- Communicate effectively and influence others.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years post-qualification experience in industry.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Power BI. Experience of Microsoft Great Plains would be advantageous.
Desirable:
- Experience in the construction/hire industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Insphire.
