SalaryWe are actively seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Senior Accountant to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a reputable organisation committed to innovation and excellence. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial management, tax compliance, and strategic decision-making.
In this multifaceted position, you will blend traditional accounting practices with a forward-looking approach. Your responsibilities will include:
Tax Compliance and Optimisation:
Prepare and submit annual income tax returns for various business entities.
Maximise deductions while ensuring strict compliance with tax regulations.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyse financial data to support business profitability and growth.
Produce accurate and timely management reports for informed decision-making.
Month-End :
Handle and Year-End Processes
Handle month-end and year-end journal entries efficiently.
Budgeting and Planning:
Resource Management:
Manage capital expenditure and financial resources effectively.
Supervision and Leadership:
Oversee a team of two staff members, providing guidance and mentorship.
Innovative Reporting:
Identify opportunities to enhance existing reporting processes by introducing appropriate reporting tools and software.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Several years of hands-on experience in a financial setting.
Demonstrable expertise in tax return preparation and management accounting.
Strong Excel skills are essential.
Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is advantageous.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Our client offers a competitive salary of approximately c£60,000, commensurate with experience.
Please note: This role is fully office-based, with no hybrid working arrangements.
