Senior Management Accountant

Strand Hill are pleased to announce we are exclusively partnered with a renewables investment firm currently looking to grow their finance team through the addition of a Senior Management Accountant as a result of sustained growth.

With investments including energy projects and energy transition companies, spanning over multiple countries and many technologies, much of the day to day operations and accounting will be outsourced. As such, this role will mostly be responsible for the quality of the financial information and reporting across listed funds, along with assisting on new fund raises and investment transactions. Roles and responsibilities to be expected include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the production of annual accounts for listed entities

• Manage AIFMD report and AIFM risk reporting to uphold regulatory standards

• Manage debt, cash flow and FX payments

• Oversee audits and budgets for SPVs

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA

• Strong understanding of IFRS, Investment Entity accounting and UK GAAP

• Good knowledge of fund accounting

• Experience working with renewable energy investment assets
