Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial transactions of the group
- Assist with monthly preparation and analysis of management accounts
- Management of purchase ledger function and review aged creditors
- Maintain the fixed asset register including monthly depreciation
calculations - Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Management for petty cash for the group including onsite audits
- Work with external auditors during the annual audit
- Maintenance of cash flow forecasting by company
- Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, auditors and companies house
- Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to develop the role and improve analysis, reporting and financial support and training to internal customers
Skills and experience required:
- Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Management Accountant
- Previous experience preparing management accounts to a high standard
- Ability to oversee the daily financial transactions for the group of companies
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
