Are you ready to take that next step in your career? We’re working with a major global manufacturer requiring an experienced Management Accountant to support the Senior Management team. Reporting to the Group FC, the outline of the position is as follows:-

The main responsibilities of the Management Accountant role are:-
- To deliver robust monthly management accounts for all the Group’s subsidiaries giving context and narrative
- Understand and control the balance sheets from the global subsidiaries
- Reconcile any issues pertaining to balance sheets globally to ensure seamless accounts are held
- Deliver new systems and models for operational improvement, including a new ERP system
- Management the performance and deliver regular appraisal meetings with direct reports
- Developing and maintaining systems of internal financial control, and pursuing measures to ensure they are adhered to
- To deliver finance KPIs set by the directors
- To develop the finance function, seeking efficiency and effectiveness in all areas
- To deliver Group budgets, plus accurate in-year reporting of forecasts and budget holder actions
- To Support the Group FC and directors with the Groups strategic plan
The ideal Management Accountant would meet the following criteria:-
- Preferably Qualified CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent); or alternatively Part Qual with time served
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience of production and review of monthly Management Accounts packs including narrative
- Multi-year Cash flow management
- Presentation of financial information to non-finance audience
- Budget setting and 3-year financial planning at organisation and departmental level
