Senior Management Accountant

Are you a skilled and experienced accountant looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a Factory Accountant to join our dynamic client based in Wednesbury. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and reports to support informed decision-making.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage budgets, providing insightful forecasts for the factory's financial performance.
• Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain any variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, offering recommendations for improvement.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the financial aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking and valuation.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and work collaboratively to implement changes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an accountant in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
