Senior Management Accountant

Are you a finalist/qualified or qualified by experienced Management Accountant looking for that next step up into a senior role, where you will have the opportunity to manage a small team in client facing, commercially focused role? The role is well rounded and hands on, encompassing business partnering and client management, overseeing a small team and management accounts.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the key duties of role will include:

• Submission of monthly management accounts within deadlines.
• Overseeing a team of 4-5 staff
• Overseeing P&L and Balance Sheet queries
• Providing variance analysis and commentary by working with the sales and operational teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• To ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Production of financial reforecasting.
• Supporting the annual statutory audit.
• Supporting the production of the annual budgets.
• To review and implement new processes to deliver reporting and administrational efficiencies.
• Support on ad-hoc tasks and reporting.
• Business partnering and managing key client relationships

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA part of fully qualified, or qualified by experience - Essential
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience within a relevant management accounts role - Essential
• Have exceptional communication and presentation skills and the ability to engage and influence - Essential
• Have previous experience of overseeing or managing staff - Desirable
