About this opportunity:
This is an exciting role to gain an insight into LBG capital and RWA's, whilst growing your network throughout central and divisional finance teams.
Operating within the Group Capital Planning & Reporting Team of Central Finance, the Capital Planning Insight & Analysis team are at the heart of the finance community providing analysis, insight and strategic direction to a range of senior stakeholders on some of the Group's key metrics: capital, leverage and Risk Weighted Assets.
Our team helps the Group make strategic decisions around long term Capital Planning and generation, distributions to shareholders (dividends and share buybacks) and our risk weighted asset consumption. The materials we produce allow senior colleagues to make the right decisions at the right time for the Group, we actively work on materials that are sent to the CFO and executive committee to assist in decision making. This role focusses on managing and informing the direction of the Group's legal entity capital positions.
We're looking for an enthusiastic driven individual, who will thrive operating in a fast paced and highly visible role, with a real desire to make a difference. You'll enjoy leading a small team to deliver in a timely, controlled manner, including drawing out key messages and understanding the technical concepts that underpin the analysis produced as well as being passionate about process improvement to transform how we do things.

What you'll be doing:
- produce analysis and insights for senior management including GEC and the Board
- present capital analysis and updates to senior leaders, ensuring that results and issues are well understood and explained.
- work with and influence Divisional and Central teams, providing guidance and direction.
- inspire and lead change/process improvement across forecasting, analysis and reporting.
- embed the Lloyds Banking Group culture and vision through visible leadership, being a role model for the Group's leadership behaviours.
- support and coach wider team, ensuring colleagues are developed effectively, utilising the groups Your Best principles.
- driving the shift to grow with purpose and being part of the Finance transformation agenda.

What you'll need:
- With an Accounting or Finance qualification, you'll bring previous experience demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial business drivers.
- Capital knowledge or experience would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
- As a people leader, you'll have experience in delivering and coaching with a change attitude to promote team and innovation.
- Your analytical skills will allow you to review financial management information, driving a deep and detailed understanding of drivers.
- Along with a curious attitude to understand and challenge strategic direction, and your well-developed influencing skills, you'll provide guidance and direction to the wider finance community.
- You'll have tenacity, agility and an ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
- A collaborator who can initiate and lead conversations with business leaders regarding anticipated and emerging opportunities.
