You'll enjoy leading a small team to deliver in a timely, controlled manner, including drawing out key messages and understanding the technical concepts that underpin the analysis produced as well as being passionate about process improvement to transform how we do things.

This is an excellent opportunity to challenge and stretch yourself, personally driving and shaping the function, and to ensure that LBG, as an organisation, continues to progress towards its strategic aims.

What you'll be doing:

  • produce analysis and insights for senior management including GEC and the Board

  • work with and influence Divisional and Central teams, providing guidance and direction.
  • inspire and lead change/process improvement across forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • embed the Lloyds Banking Group culture and vision through visible leadership, being a role model for the Group's leadership behaviours.
  • support and coach wider team, ensuring colleagues are developed effectively, utilising the groups Your Best principles.
  • driving the shift to grow with purpose and being part of the Finance transformation agenda.

About us:

If you think all banks are the same, you'd be wrong. We're an innovative, constantly evolving business that's shaping finance as a force for good. A bank that's empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose.

What you'll need:

  • With an Accounting or Finance qualification, you'll bring previous experience demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial business drivers.
  • Capital knowledge or experience would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
  • As a people leader, you'll have experience in delivering and coaching with a change attitude to promote team and innovation.
  • Your analytical skills will allow you to review financial management information, driving a deep and detailed understanding of drivers.
  • Along with a curious attitude to understand and challenge strategic direction, and your well-developed influencing skills, you'll provide guidance and direction to the wider finance community.
  • You'll have tenacity, agility and an ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
  • A collaborator who can initiate and lead conversations with business leaders regarding anticipated and emerging opportunities.
