Would you like to work in an award-winning Corporate Affairs function? We have an outstanding opportunity to join the team on a 12-month secondment/FTC to help improve our reputation.
Our purpose in Corporate Affairs is to secure Lloyds Banking Group’s reputation as the bank that helps Britain prosper. The Reputation & Community Engagement team co-ordinates reputation strategies for the function and drives a proactive, insight-based approach to engaging our key audiences with our purpose.
As one of the senior members of the team, you'll be responsible for leading the development of creative campaign strategies designed to improve the Group’s reputation. You'll be jointly responsible for leading a small team, so you'll play a meaningful role in amplifying messaging about the benefits the Group brings to the UK.
We'd love you to have experience of leading and creating reputation strategies and examples of working across multiple audiences to get the right result. As an expert in your field, we'll need brilliant influencing skills so you must be comfortable engaging with senior leaders including the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Directors and others on how the Group can improve its reputation.
Each campaigning opportunity that you lead will require a targeted, measurable campaign plan to be developed, as well as the development and maintenance of message houses, playbooks and branded collateral for each agreed editorial theme, making these freely available across the Group to anyone involved in engaging internal and external audiences.
What we need from you!
As well as your expertise in reputation, we also need you to have a strong understanding of channels and their potential for reaching our audiences. We'd be especially keen to hear from you if you have outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to embrace different writing styles.
The work you'll do also needs a highly developed visual sense, including the ability to direct creative services, select relevant and on-brand photography and other images, to develop impactful visual materials in line with brand guidelines.
Ideally, you'll be able to show past experience in the following skills.
- Experience of designing and implementing communication strategies that led to an improvement in reputation.
- Delivering targeted, through the line creative campaigns.
- Leading multi-functional squads.
- Proactivity! We'd love you to bring lots of energy and curiosity to the role.
