Our client is a global leader in technical education, providing innovative learning solutions to the automotive and engineering sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a new Senior Marketing Communications Manager based in The Netherlands.

You will lead the development of a marcom strategy as well as the execution of digital and analog marcom activities. The focus will be on the EMEA region, with additional responsibilities for central/global tasks.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of predominantly external communication initiatives, the priority being the redevelopment of the company’s online presence/website as a lead-generation tool.

You will initiate and direct various direct marketing and other media campaigns, identify and manage pro-active media relations opportunities, and support other business initiatives as needed.

You will manage a team of currently one Marketing Communications Coordinator. In 2024, an additional team member can be recruited. You will work closely together with colleagues responsible for North America and Latin America. Finally, you will also be responsible for the identification and selection of a new (international) communications agency.

Skills & Experience:

• Digital native with extensive and proven experience in the execution of one or more key areas (digital marketing, website, social media)
• Minimum five years experience in marcom roles, preferably more
• Ability to create (digital) marcom strategy plans
• Experience in creating and managing marcom tactics aligned with the company’s objectives
• Experience in product launches and event marketing
• Experience in selecting and/or managing an agency
• Strong project management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with global teams and vendors for on-time delivery of initiatives;
• Experience in managing and building a (small) team is a plus
• Near-fluent English skills are a must, and professional proficiency in other European languages is a plus
• Strong communication skills, verbally and in written communication, including persuasive writing and storytelling skills
