The Strategic Marketing team is responsible for developing a coherent approach to marketing across Diabetes UK that allows us to reach, engage, inform and support more people living with, or at risk of, diabetes. That’s why we’re looking for a brilliant Senior Marketing Manager to join our team and help us deliver maximum impact through our communications.

Role Responsibility

Working within the Marketing & Communications department, this exciting role will be responsible for leading a brilliant team of four to design and deliver creative, multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll work with colleagues across the charity to reach, engage, support, and build meaningful long-term relationships with our supporters and beneficiaries, championing an insight-driven, engagement-first approach to marketing with our audiences at its heart. You’ll have a particular focus on reaching communities who need our support most.

You’ll lead your team to innovate and test new marketing channels and approaches, keeping on the pulse with new marketing trends and opportunities to ensure we can proactively respond to evolving external context.

The Ideal Candidate

This is the perfect role for a confident, resourceful strategic thinker with a strong marketing and communications background (gained within an agency or in-house marketing environment). You’ll be a skilled communicator, adept at building strong working relationships and developing effective marketing strategies.

You’ll have significant hands-on experience delivering multi-channel, innovative campaigns, working with internal and external stakeholders and managing a team to deliver impactful communications.

You’ll be a champion for the needs of people living with, affected by and at risk of diabetes, and ensuring these needs are at the heart of our decision making.
