Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a dynamic team. As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our nursery, leading by example and contributing to the high standards of care and education we strive to maintain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of Nursery Practitioners, ensuring a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities to stimulate the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide leadership in the absence of the Nursery Manager and contribute to the overall success of the nursery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a nursery setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week. The working hours may vary within the operational hours of the nursery.
Salary:
The salary for this position is £11.56 - £12.85 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
