Meraki Talent are currently working with a fantastic organisation within the Insurance sector to help them identify a senior compliance Control Associate. The role offers global exposure along with interaction with brokers, operations and the CEO office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join their team, this role is based in central London.
As a senior compliance Control Associate you will be responsible for the continual adoption of the first line target operating model within and the trading division, ensuring adequate oversight, management and implementation of policies, procedures and controls that minimise business risk.
Key Responsibilities include.
* Maintaining and developing a strong relationship with the business second and third line team
* Reviewing and communicating changes to policies and procedures
* Scheduling and organising meetings
* Updating of control frameworks, continuous process improvement
* Trend analysis and root cause analysis
* Adhoc duties
* Management of 1 direct report
* Monitoring all Mandatory training requirements
* Stakeholder Management
The ideal candidate will be.
* From an insurance background or have pervious working experience
* Solely interested in and operations based career
* A strong communicator and have great interpersonal skills
* Very organised
* Great with numbers
* MS office proficient
