An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Estate Manager to join the Estates and Facilities Team of an organisation based in Radlett, Hertfordshire on a temporary basis. This position will be based on site at their offices in Radlett.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head of Operations
• Manage hard facilities management services across all sites within the trust. Serve as the responsible person for health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Chair all meetings related to health and safety, providing leadership and guidance to staff.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk assessment, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient operation of facilities and maintenance services.
• Oversee maintenance budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implanted.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate facilities management processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on hard services.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent in chairing meetings and leading discussions on health and safety matters.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and management processes.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare or education sector (preferred).
