Senior Operations executive - Required for this lovely expanding niche travel who work with some of the biggest media brands providing exclusive travel programmes for their readers. Salary around 32k plus great benefits , ideally 1 day in the London office, but they can be flexible, Monday to Friday. Operations in travel is a must
Senior Operations executives duties
-Take ownership of packages, from Product, once they reach a viable position to operate
-For 3rd party packages, liaise with suppliers on viable packages nearing departure to ensure we they aligned with flights/transfers/accommodation arrangements etc and operationally ready
-For the companies own Tours packages, ensure all accommodation, transfers and flights are booked within specified budgets and collate operational costs
-Create and circulate Operations Briefs for all packages
-Be the main point of contact for experts ahead of their departure, ensuring that they have all required information and ready to operate
-Follow up with experts after their departure to obtain feedback and willingness to repeat, ready to handover to the Product Team
-Source and manage Tour Directors
-Take the lead in updating the Tours Health & Safety strategy, ensuring Product Teams are aware of and adhering to required processes
-Support Product in the creation of packages during Operations quiet period
Senior Operations executives skills required
-Operations in the travel industry is a must, working for a tour operator or a cruise company ideally
-Impeccable organisation skills
-Keen attention to detail
-Ability to multi task
Additional information
-Benefits include 25 days holidays, flexible working hours, pension
