Hours:12 months Fixed Term Contract. 35 hours per week. Flexible hybrid working, typically 2/3 days per week in the office.Salary:£60,000 Per AnnumClosing Date:Tue, 13 Feb 2024We are looking for the newest member of the Money Operations Senior Leadership Team – a Senior Manager who has the drive and passion to help transform a critical area of our Operations, the mailroom, and make a significant contribution to the culture and direction of the overall Money Operations Department.Who Are We?Not just another building society. ts. Work with procurement to negotiate and consolidate providers and look for cost efficiencies.Recommended key investment where required to ensure mailroom operations have the required technology to remain efficient and productive.To assess and introduce critical controls wh
ere necessary in the mailroom.A key decision maker in mailroom FTE requirements.Capability to support the department and act in the leadership team.What Do We Need From You?QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field or equivalent business experience.SkillsExceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.Financial acumen with experience managing substantial budgets.Proven track record in driving process improvements.Critical thinking and ability to make decisions through ambiguity.A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.KnowledgeIn-depth understanding of mailroom operations and outsourcing trends in the financial services industry.Familiarity with technology lifecycle management and advancements.Supplier management.ExperiencePrevious experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in operations management within a financial services context.Successful track record in supplier management, budget oversight, and implementing process improvements.Demonstrated experience in initiating and managing outsourcing projects.
