Central Employment are working with a rapidly expanding eCommerce Retail organisation based in the North East. Due to on-going growth, they’re seeking a technically focused Senior Paid Media Specialist, reporting into the Head of Marketing and MD.
The role offers hybrid working (1 day from home), operating from my clients studio in Gateshead.
What we’re looking for:
● An analytical and commercially-minded individual with extensive knowledge of Google Ads, social ads and retargeting.
● A data-driven and technical mindset with excellent analytical and mathematical skills, the ability to use formula, spreadsheets, databases, basic coding and the understanding of margins, profitability and return on investment.
● Broader knowledge of the entire marketing mix and how it affects PPC, as well as the ability to manage multiple brands and stores simultaneously.
What you’ll be doing:
● Take ownership of Google Ads, social ads and retargeting to increase revenue and profit.
● Write engaging copy for ads to help drive conversions.
● Assist and work with the Marketing Team on campaigns, advising the best strategies from a paid advertising perspective.
● We’re a dynamic team, so being open to taking on additional marketing tasks where required is a desirable quality.
Key skills we need:
● Experience managing Google Ads accounts with budgets over £500k per year, especially within E-commerce.
● The ability to maintain and scale Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads and other social media ad platforms.
● Excellent financial literacy with a thorough understanding of the key performance indicators for paid advertising.
● The ability to use data to drive decision-making, including Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel skills and experience with analytics platforms.
● A high level of experience with GA4.
● A high level of experience with reporting and Business Intelligence tools such as Looker Studio.
