We have an exciting opportunity to join our wider Fundraising team as Senior Partnerships & Trusts Officer. This role plays an integral part in supporting our team to meet our ambitious fundraising targets in the years ahead.
This role is responsible for scoping, researching and writing key documents that will help build and maintain strategic partnerships and funding relationships. They will also lead as the CRM database champion for the team, ensuring that all relevant partner data is gathered and maintained to help with pipeline management, fundraising, reporting, and communications. You will manage relationships with trusts and foundations, as well as some corporate partners to increase income to the charity.
This role will work with various teams across the charity to gather relevant information and data, to inform and craft into documents that demonstrate the impact of the charity and ultimately, raise vital funds to sustain the charity's work.
About you
The ideal candidate may have previous fundraising experience and be experienced in researching prospects from large datasets, however this is not essential if you are able to demonstrate relevant transferable experience from other roles/ sectors.
You will have excellent written skills, a natural attention to detail, and the ability to research and distil detailed information into informative and persuasive documents. You should have experience with CRM systems and have an understanding of data segmentation and how to adapt your style and approach to speak to different partners (existing and prospective).
