We are now on the hunt for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our fantastic Chester team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and innovative firm.
What your day to day will look like as a Senior Payroll Administrator…
- Completing start to finish payrolls, and managing your own portfolio of clients
- Managing and processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls
- Collating and actioning calculations concerning additions and deductions to gross pay
- Inputting, checking and processing new starters and leavers for clients
- Producing all wage slips
- Collating and actioning statutory payments
- Support the Payroll Manager with the day to day team management, including mentoring junior staff
- Being the on-site go-to person with queries
Skills and experience you will have…
- Experience working in an accountancy practice / bureau
- Iris Star experience is essential
- Experience in identifying, investigating and resolving discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Motivated to deliver and extraordinary service and will have a proactive approach
