My client is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist for a temporary, part-time position (3 days a week) spanning 11-12 months due to parental leave.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Processing monthly payroll for all 3 of our UK entities for c. 300 employees
- Collating and processing all UK payroll data into ADP, IRIS (Star) and Activpayroll
- Preparing monthly payroll reconciliations
- Leading new payroll solware implementation project and providing expertise on best payroll practices to streamline operations.
- Working closely with HR team to ensure all payroll data is captured and resolve any system or process issues
- Managing the payroll inbox, handling employee queries, liaising with HR at head office, and other bodies (HMRC, Pension Regulator, etc)
- Completing Year End procedures and producing P60s
- Producing and distributing P11Ds, assisting with annual PSA submissions and dealing with other ad hoc payroll tax related queries.
Profile
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Senior Payroll position.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and statutory requirements in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of different payroll systems and solware, with expertise in implementing system automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, effectively convey complex payroll concepts to various audiences.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Adherence to GDPR, confidentiality, and data protection legislation.
