Salary A well known insurer is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join their team in London. The role reports into the Pricing Manager and sits in a mid-size team with a range of backgrounds and levels of experience. The work will concentrate on Case Pricing and Model Development, with ad-hoc portfolio management requirements, and will work across the whole spectrum of products the company writes.
The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years of London or Lloyd's market pricing experience and be confident working in VBA and SQL, with PowerBI being highly beneficial. The current models are in Excel / VBA, but they aren't wed to them remaining in that format and are open to those with strong Python and / or R skills to come in and trail blaze the use of Python and / or R internally for data analysis and model parameterisation. Our clients preference is a nearly or newly qualified actuary, but they are open to those who have stopped exams or no longer wish to take them, depending on relevant experience.
This role will pay up to £80k and will require you to be in the office 2 - 3 days a week.
