Moore Green Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a Children s Residential Care provider to recruit for a Senior Registered Manager.
This is a permanent opportunity with a newly established Children s Residential Care provider that is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children and young people. Through compassionate care, individualised attention, and comprehensive support, they aim to create a loving home where every child feels valued, respected, and equipped with the tools to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- To be registered with Ofsted as a suitable manager for one residential home and to fully comply with the Children s Homes Regulations 2015 and deliver the Quality Standards for Children s Homes.
- To have senior leadership over a second residential home and its manager, to conduct quality audits and assessments.
- To deliver high standards, aim for outstanding provision at all times.
- Be an advocate for young people and ensure they receive services they require.
- To be responsible for the management, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people referred and/or accommodated within the home.
- To promote the practice of working in partnership with young people, their families, other staff, and other agencies, in order to meet the needs of young people.
About you:
- You will be a passionate and forward-thinking individual with strong people management skills
- You will have significant experience in a Registered Manager
- Have, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services
- A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including OFSTED requirements.
- Ideally you will also have experience of establishing a new children s service in line with OFSTED requirements
An Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment polices and procedures for all employees.
