We help young people to build life-long belief in themselves, supporting them to take on their own challenges, follow their own passions and discover talents they never knew they had. Because when you prove yourself that you’re ready for anything nothing can hold you back.
Do you want to be part of that?
The role:
Understanding and communicating the DofE’s impact is a key element of our Youth Without Limits strategy. Our theory of change and associated impact measurement framework are becoming embedded in programme operations and are starting to deliver valuable data that we can analyse to understand the effect that participation in the DofE programme has on young people’s confidence, wellbeing, resilience, and future potential. This role will take that work to the next level and is crucial to us developing a compelling message around the impact of the DofE, to engage and excite young people, their parents, our adult volunteers, and our supporters.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in an impact or monitoring and evaluation role.
- Sound research skills with an ability to critically evaluate evidence and draw conclusions to produce actionable insight.
- An ability to draw out compelling narratives from raw evaluation data to support the production of case studies that can meet the needs of different external audiences.
- An ability to work with missing or incomplete information.
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative approach to cross-team working.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular the use of Excel for analysing and modelling data and creating reports, with a willingness to learn other tools as required.
You will work within a small team, taking responsibility for the charity’s impact measurement framework. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to use their creativity and analytical experience to identify, articulate, and promote key insights into the impact that a DofE programme has on young people.
We offer excellent staff benefits including a competitive salary, generous pension contribution, flexible working, and an employee assistance programme.
