Lending has a new and exciting role for a Senior Supplier Relationship Management Specialist to become part of the team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to support some of the Society’s most critical Supplier Relationships in providing exceptional service as part of our end-to-end mortgage journey. The successful person needs to understand, value and nurture partnerships, strategic collaboration and continually obsess about the end customer.
This role will support the Senior Manager in being responsible for ensuring that the service provided by our key partners and suppliers continues to meet the demands of the Society both today and into the future. Working both with the suppliers as well as key internal stakeholders this role acts as a conduit between the broader industry and the Society, ensuring that all key contractual requirements, as well as SRM governance and due diligence are met.
Being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries both internally and externally identifying trends where possible to improve service or reduce delays are key components of the role as well as compiling, analysing and presenting data back to internal stakeholders, identify areas of opportunity / new initiatives and to improve the overall service provision. Keeping accurate records of spend vs forecast and supporting the annual PO review and instigation for sign off is also a key part of the role.
About you
For this role you’ll be a confident relationship builder with a strong mortgage industry knowledge and ideally experience at managing external or 3rd party relationships.
You’ll have experience of dealing with stakeholders at different levels, including Senior Management as well as the ability in influencing those stakeholders, engaging others and building positive relationships. Being be organised, detail conscious with the ability to absorb facts and process facts quickly as well as being committed to meeting deadlines, are essential skills.
Experience of analysing information, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement will be important. You’ll also need to have the tenacity to follow up outstanding actions; holding stakeholders accountable for performance and committed actions, so you’ll be both assertive and resilient
