Senior Repairs Manager

We are working with a housing provider, who are looking to recruit a Senior Repairs Manager on a permanent basis to oversee their Property Repairs department.

Reporting directly to the Head of the Department, the Senior Repairs Manager has direct line management responsibility for the Repairs Managers who subsequently manage the property supervisors and trades staff.

You will be responsible for all of the day-to-day repair requests and planning function whilst, ensuring the development and growth of the service standards is key to success.

Duties will include:

• Develop and monitor KPI’s relating to productivity, value for money, costs and customer experience.
• Manage productivity concerns through providing data to managers and guidance about how to approach these management conversations.
• Create a high performing planning team focused on maximising resources, supporting productivity targets, and ensuring jobs progress as quickly as possible, keeping customers informed along the way.
• Ensure that contract management, H&S and people management activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies.
• Provide leadership and advice to all operational managers
• Manage the Out of Hours contract

We are looking for a senior manager, who can run a successful repairs service whilst providing managers with guidance and support.

You will bring with you your proven track record of having worked in a similar position either for a Housing provider or repairs & maintenance contractor, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present and report on complex information.

The knowledge and experience of budget setting, monitoring and control is essential.

This is hybrid position with the requirement to attend the office when required.
