Purpose of the Role

Mintec is seeking a dedicated and ambitious team leader who will manage one of the research teams within the wider research and analytics function. The Research team’s core mission is identifying new data to enrich our database and assist with Mintec’s growth strategy. The team research commodities across food and non-food categories, identifying and preparing reliable data for inclusion on our platform.

Core responsibilities:

• Line managing a small team of Research Analysts
• Managing cross-departmental projects
• Data and metrics analysis
• Propose research strategy driven by data and collected feedback
• Release and promotion of new data
• Providing suggestions for process and procedures improvements
• Developing and maintaining internal and external relationships
• Managing client queries about data and sources of information

Minimum requirements

• Secondary research experience gained through work or studies
• Experience in project management
• Analytically minded
• Very comfortable using Excel, PowerBI and similar applications
• Excellent attention to detail and an organised approach to work
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise, and coherent manner
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to work in a pressured environment and deliver work to set deadlines
