Moderna's Bioanalytical and Molecular Assay team is looking for a Lab OperationsSenior Research Associate in the new Clinical Assay Laboratory. The ideal candidate should have previous laboratory experience – preferably in a GLP/GCLP regulated environment or similar – and experience working with human samples. This role will support scientists working in Moderna’s regulated bioanalysis laboratories, including LC-MS, ligand-binding assays, and molecular assays.
Here's What You’ll Do:Your key responsibilities will be:
Implementing biospecimen accessioning for clinical studies (phase I-III) and monitoring of biospecimens, ensuring compliance with the Human Tissue Act and Informed Consent Forms.
Providing scientific staff with the correct samples as requested, and ensuring all samples are stored and tracked in the LIMS.
Restocking laboratories with plasticware, PPE, etc., and contributing to the lab safety plan, CoSHH, and Risk Assessments as necessary.
Maintaining compliance with regulations and SOPs, scheduling laboratory and equipment time for staff, and enforcing policies around personal protective equipment.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Working closely with colleagues in the clinical development organization as well as other cross-functional groups.
Providing training on non-analytical laboratory equipment and participating in the Laboratory workflow daily, including quality control on instruments.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline is essential, with 5+ years laboratory experience.
Previous experience in a regulated laboratory is preferred
Willingness to learn new concepts and challenge boundaries; adaptability to change
Organization and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with an eagerness to work with and support colleagues in other departments
Proven ability to develop and work independently and to collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish goals in a timely manner
