Job Description
What is the opportunity?
You will analyse, measure and report market, liquidity and counterparty risk for BlueBay’s fund products.
What will you do?
- Monitor macro and market risks across the funds.
- Monitor exposure against internal and external limits, investigate and manage exceptions.
- Manage daily risk review and top risk identification.
- Drive engagement with Portfolio Managers and challenge risk positioning and portfolio construction.
- Provide value-add analysis (scenario and stress testing, regression analysis, portfolio optimization).
- Lead meetings with the Investment teams and provide insight on top risks.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
- Previous experience working within a risk role/environment.
- Establishes and maintains good relationships and works effectively and cooperatively with others. Communicates constructively, engages others positively and readily shares information and ideas.
- Acts with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in carrying out their role.
Nice to have:
- Positive and energetic attitude, gets involved and proactively seeks out opportunities to advance the business.
