Senior Safety Evaluation Physician - Global Pharmaceutical Company - Hybrid

We here at Planet Pharma have partnered with an extremely exciting company, seeking to hire Senior Safety Evaluation Physician based in St Albans. The is a Safety Officer role in charge of multiple products, working in signal management and reviewing safety data.

Primary Responsibilities / Core Duties:

• Serve as the General Safety Officer (GSO) under the guidance of the Global Safety Board Chair, managing global safety aspects for specific products in accordance with company policies and SOPs
• Lead Safety Evaluations for designated products, overseeing signal detection, analysis, aggregate safety reporting, and conducting benefit-risk analyses
• Address safety-related medical queries from regulatory authorities, external bodies, and internal stakeholders for specified products
• Provide safety expertise
• Take the lead in producing and updating safety information, including product labeling, for the specified products
• Oversee safety aspects of clinical studies, participating in protocol development, production of investigators' brochures, supporting study teams, reviewing data, monitoring safety signals, and contributing to the production of clinical study reports
• Contribute as a senior member in the drug safety community, actively participating in the day-to-day operations of an effective regional and global drug safety network

QUALIFICATIONS

• GMC certification preferred (International Equivalents are also be acceptable)
• Pharmacovigilance or Safety experience
• Signal Management experience (more so than case processing)
