Job description

Great opportunity for an experience GTM Sales Strategy manager to join a global consumer retail organisation.

The role will provide autonomy and opportunities to lead on global Sales Strategy for a portfolio of significant consumer brands.

Management consultancy experience required.

Hybrid working: 2 days in office, 3 days working from home

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust global GTM strategy, aligning sales efforts with the overall business objectives and product offerings
  • Identify target customer segments, value propositions, and pricing strategies for global market entry
  • Manage and expand relationships with key global clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty through strategic account management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of global brands
  • Develop resources to empower the team in effectively executing the GTM strategy
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth
  • Utilise market intelligence to refine and optimise the GTM approach for each region
  • Oversee complex contract negotiations and ensure alignment with the GTM strategy
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the GTM strategy
  • Analyse sales data regularly, providing insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide valuable input on product development based on customer feedback and market trends
  • Identify and assess new markets for global expansion, developing entry strategies and establishing partnerships as needed
  • Work with regional teams to ensure consistency and alignment in executing the GTM approach
  • Ad hoc international travel requirement

Skills & experience:

  • Undergraduate degree, or CIM qualification (desirable)
  • Candidates must have previous management consultancy experience
  • FMCG sector experience preferred but not essential
  • Strategic consumer GTM experience
  • Previous B2C marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with a great attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Project management expertise
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
