CHR Life Sciences are pleased to be working in partnership with a biotechnology company in the West Midlands, who are seeking a Senior Scientist to join their growing team. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for leading biological biomarker assay development, designing in vitro diagnostic product development, and be responsible for CE mark/FDA approval compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• In your role, you lead biological biomarker assay development.
• You will be responsible for budgeting and planning skills.
• You will implement good experimental design and qPCR optimization (data outcome evaluation, troubleshooting, etc.)
• In your role you will, be responsible for the implementation of the quality system management and ongoing compliance.

The Successful candidate will:

• Have a deep understanding of molecular biology, particularly NGS and qPCR.
• Have experience with nucleic acid manipulation.
• Have experience demonstrating team leaderships skills and leading a team within a lab setting.
• Have the ability to direct and manager a lab receiving samples.
