You are part of a project team that conducts long-term research projects that will help us deliver our strategy. You plan and execute projects and/or work tracks from hypothesis to experiments and through to results interpretation, write up, recommendations and dissemination. In this role, you establish internal and external technical networks and interact independently with senior managers and stakeholders.
How you will contribute
You will plan, lead and coordinate projects and/or work tracks, collaborating with senior technical colleagues, and supporting and influencing cross-functional, cross-category customers through the delivery of technical programs. You will plan, lead and execute bench-top experimental work plans and trials following good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and oversee scale up to pilot and factory scale where appropriate. To succeed in this role, you will develop hypotheses and conceptual models that deliver technical applications and processes that are relevant across multiple snack categories and independently plan, lead and coordinate project-related activities such as literature reviews, IP landscaping, analytical testing needs, consumer science testing, etc., working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify best practices. In addition, you will interpret data, findings and results and define subsequent steps while demonstrating sound scientific know-how and capability to link findings to business objectives.

What you need to know about this position:
You will participate to research programs (including in vitro, and/or animal and/or human trials) to promote specific health interest related to Mondelez strategy. In particular, you will have to identify health implications in dietary sugars to provide recommendations in food product formulations, to participate to the improvement of nutritional profiles of Mondelez portfolio.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Education / Certifications:
PhD in human physiology, or human nutrition, or master degree in nutrition and professional experience in research
Location:
This role will be based at our site in Reading (university campus) or Birmingham, however the preferred location is Reading.
