Ad Hoc are the market leading provider of Property Guardian services in the UK. Property Guardians are an innovative solution to secure empty buildings by placing working people to live in them until owners are ready to reuse or sell them. The scheme is commercially sound and benefits everyone from the property owner, local community and those looking for alternative accommodation. We also offer a range of digital and traditional security measures including monitored CCTV and alarms for use when Guardians wouldn’t be appropriate such as on unhihabitable buildings or empty land. With the economy opening up following the pandemic many organisations are looking for new solutions to maintain their properties which can otherwise sit empty and vulnerable for long spells due to a number of reasons. Their requirements change and we intend to be part of their decision making processes when buildings become empty and need some protection. This role joins our vastly experienced and passionate Birmingham Security team who have a thorough understanding of the market place in the midlands. The team supports property owners across a number of public and private sectors and new opportunities are regularly unveiled in the region. Growth is our absolute aim in 2024 and we expect this to be achieved. You will be responsible for exactly how far we can go.
The Role
This role requires energy and enthusiasm to promote our security service to a range of property owners and managers in organisations including Councils, the NHS, care home groups, housing associations, charities and private owners., site magagers and builing companies. Excellent networking skills and a credible sales style with a consultative approach will be required to understand and solve your prospects’ security needs.
You will be responsible for all stages of the sales process from identifying leads and building a pipeline, to qualifying new sites, proposing the best possible solution of our highly intelligent monitored alarms and CCTV enable us to offer a range of services to suit all of our clients needs . You will use a range of resources including our up-to-date CRM system, current clients, local contacts and cold calling to identified targets groups .
Full product training is given on all products and services.
You will manage your time in and out of the office, and control your own diary.
A security / CCTV background is advantageous but not essential as your desire to find and close deals will be your biggest asset to success. Poven selling skills must be demonstrated during the recruitment process along with a thorough understanding of the security market through your own research.
