About the Neighbourhood team:
Our team works with adults over 18 years old in Uttlesford, covering all specialities. We collaborate with health, housing and voluntary sector partners to provide various services under the Care Act 2014, such as assessment, reviews, mental capacity assessments and adult safeguarding.
We help adults to maintain their independence and achieve their potential, and we support people with complex and diverse needs. Our team values are based on early intervention and prevention, and a recovery-oriented approach to help adults reach their individual outcomes. This involves working closely with partners and strengthening community and network resilience.
We offer flexible working hours over 37 hours/week, including the option to work four days a week. The team meets in the office once a month and is expected to attend the office for training as needed.
Requirements for this role:
- Qualified Social Worker with 2+ years of experience and current registration
- AMHP, BIA or PE qualified or willing to complete them
- Proactive, supportive and aspiring to be part of the management team
- Expert in relevant professional practice and legislation
- Able to chair meetings and develop relationships with multi-agency professionals
- Committed to continuing professional development and risk management
- Driving licence and car required
