Overview:
As a member of a growing software development team you will be involved in the design, coding and testing of modules within the Simcyp Software Platform. You will need a good working knowledge of C++ and the ability to produce work of a consistently high quality within set timescales. The role requires close liaison with scientists and other staff on an ongoing basis so good interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must also be eligible to work in the UK. Responsibilities:

- Development of new functionality within our simulation engine using C++20.
- Lifecycle product development including design, validation, testing and full customer support.
- Good appreciation of multithreaded design principles and their application.
Qualifications:
Essential
- The successful applicant will have 5 or more years’ commercial experience in C++ and a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle from design specification through to testing and evaluation.
- Ability to achieve under tight deadlines and thrive in a pressured environment.
- Evidence to support dynamic and self-motivated work.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team on large projects.
- Evidence to show ability to work confidently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills with internal and external contacts.
Desirable
- Background in Bioinformatics or a relevant scientific domain.
- Knowledge of C# WPF, XAML and MVVM architecture.
- Knowledge of modelling packages such as Matlab and R.
