SalaryWe are delighted to be working with one our long-term clients. They are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing IT solutions that support services and products
- Building and deploying scalable systems and applications
- Promoting collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming
- Working with an international team including offshore developers
- Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation
- Leading maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications
- Providing support in all phases of SDLC
- Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
- Mentoring junior members of the team
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience building Java applications
- Experience working with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with RESTful services
- Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to understand user requests
