The Role
This is an excellent Senior Software Engineer role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. The Senior Software Engineer will need to be able to write in PHP, Laravel and JavaScript. They must have strong test writing skills, both for unit and feature tests as well as the ability to work independently and manage projects as they help build the next generation of the company’s application, both adding new features and maintaining existing ones.

The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern is hybrid remote, with 3 days a week in their London office.

What’s Required?
The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:
Strong PHP, Laravel and JavaScript skills, and experience with OOP
Strong test writing skills are essential
Experience writing, debugging and optimising SQL queries is a plus, as is writing CSS/SCSS
- Understanding REST, HTTP methods, error codes and web security is a plus
- The ability to work independently and manage a project
Understanding containerisation, or having experience using Zend/Laminas or React Native will also set you ahead
