Senior Staff Nurse

As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high quality care. Patient experience will be at the heart of your care. You will minimise risk and maintain the safety of patients and staff. You will be an experienced Band 5 or existing Band 6 team leader who is passionate about care in Gastroenterology, with the ability to motivate others. You will support the nurse in charge, matron and the senior nursing management in the delivery of excellence. You will have excellent communication and relationship skills and be able to be involved in organisational development plans and improvements.
The post holder will provide specialist nursing care and support and deputise for their line manager in the management of their clinical speciality. This will involve dealing with complex situations and having to take appropriate action in a variety of settings.
