Senior Supply Chain & Stock Control Manager

Daley Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join a well established family run business dedicated to the sourcing, supply and manufacturing of specialist food products as a Senior SupplyChain & Stock Control Manager.
This is a permanent role offering £50-£60k per annum.
The Role
To lead and manage all Supply Chain and warehouse activities across the business. To control all the stocks through effective management including stock held at Third Party Warehouse. To plan effectively to ensure constant supply of raw materials and finished manufactured goods to meet the requirements of the sales and production plan for the business. To manage the warehouse operation, investigate errors and stock discrepancies. To maintain warehouse equipment, order raw material and monitor and report on the effects of price variances on the business for all raw materials sauced.
As a Senior SupplyChain & Stock Control Manager you will be required to:
- Manage All raw materials and factored goods to meet the production and sales plans.
- Manage the efficiency and costs of import of goods using 3rd party transport company.
- Manage the efficiency and costs of 3rd party logistics including storage and transport aiming to reduce errors and maintain stock integrity.
- To set up , manage and own the Stock Control system, production planning system and all associated reporting systems
Essential Skills:
- Must have previous management experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse
- Must have experience in multi temp FMCG operations
- Must have experience in 3rd party storage, couriers and hauliers
- Excellent communicator
- PC literate
- Organised and systematic
- Experienced working with MRP /ERP systems
