Busy Bee Recruitment are currently working with a specialist social care company who specialise in providing care and support for young people in residential homes and semi-independent living services. We have a very exciting position for a SeniorSupport Worker to join their friendly team in one of their homes based in Northampton.
As Senior Support Worker for this 1-bed home, you will be caring for those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties aged between 12 and 15, with the support of a strong team of care professionals.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with the management team.
- Holding supervisions for existing staff and induct new employees.
- Rota planning and shift coordinating.
- Leading the team on your relevant shifts.
- Delivering high quality support tailored to the service users’ needs whilst promoting their dignity independence.
- Providing comfort and companionship to those in your care.
- Encouraging young people to get involved in fun social activities.
- Undertaking observations on those in your care and documenting this as necessary in their care plans.
- Attending appointments, social visits, and days out with those in your care.
- Assisting with daily household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with young people
- Right to work in the UK
- A full UK driving license
- Level 3 Qualification in Residential Childcare
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children in a professional setting
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- A passion for working and learning with children
- A confident, kind, and creative personality
