My client is a fantastic supported living service provides high-quality care for residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Workerto join their dedicated team at their home on a permanentfull contract on days . In this Senior Support Worker role, you will oversee and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to their residents.

Responsibilities as a Senior Support Worker:

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Lead, motivate and supervise a team of Support Workers to ensure the best possible care is provided to residents
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
• Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
• Keep care plans up to date

Requirements as a Senior Support Worker:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Proven experience as a Senior Support Worker within a care home
• Knowledge and experience of working with those this learning disabilities and mental health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends
• Driver with access to own vehicle
