Job description

The mission for this role:


As our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Executive, you play a critical role in building the Attest team, identifying, hiring and attracting candidates that align with our company values. You will proactively work to build diverse candidate pipelines, provide an exceptional level of candidate experience end-to-end, and support our hiring managers to make sure we hire fantastic talent who will thrive at Attest. Once an offer has been made, you will support the administration and logistics of the new starter journey, providing an exceptional onboarding experience for candidate and hiring manager alike. 


We are a small but high impact team, where you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that span the people and talent space, working with the Senior People Executive and Head of People and ultimately improving the ways in which Attest is able to develop and manage its people. 

This would be an ideal role for someone with a talent acquisition background who is looking to broaden their experience within the people function.

Please note that this role is offered on a 12 month FTC with an approximate start date of late August/ early September 


Your focus will be to…

  • Coach and support hiring managers through the hiring process, ensuring to highlight, mitigate, and minimise bias before, during and after interviews and across all hiring decisions. 
  • Ensure that all roles are added to the ATS quickly and efficiently, helping manage candidates throughout the process and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Alongside managing applications, you will also proactively source for hard to fill roles, using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Otta, plus industry specific channels. You will own agency relationships and the talent acquisition budget for roles where we need external support. 
  • Create employer brand materials, positioning Attest to potential candidates, this will include creating candidate packs and crafting LinkedIn posts, articles on the Life at Attest blog and working with our partners to create additional content.
  • Ensure the data integrity of data in our ATS, Greenhouse, providing reporting and context to leaders across Attest, including the Exec team, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the offer and onboarding journey with candidates and partner with line managers to create an exceptional new starter journey for every hire. This will include sending contracts, managing pre-employment checks and setting new starters up on our HRIS, we currently use BambooHR. 
  • Gather and action feedback from candidates and new employees to continuously improve the recruitment and onboarding journey.
  • Support on project work that aims to improve both the candidate and employee experience at Attest. 
  • Promote and role model the Attest company values by showcasing the culture in interactions with candidates, new starters and external partners. 


We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have previous in-house recruiting experience, working with stakeholders at all levels and hiring for roles across Product, Technology and Commercial departments. 
  • You have experience of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, being able to provide both support and challenge to get to the best outcomes, championing candidate experience and inclusivity. 
  • You have sourced for a variety of roles directly using multiple platforms (we currently use LinkedIn Recruiter and Otta).
  • You will have experience of owning recruitment agency relationships, agreeing ways of working, negotiating terms and ensuring effective communication to quickly and efficiently hire. 
  • You are passionate about having a positive impact through your actions on representation, inclusion and belonging in the context of talent attraction, talent acquisition and onboarding. 
  • You have used an ATS previously, ideally Greenhouse, and are able to run reports, maximise automation and coach and support hiring managers to use the tool. 
  • You have created employer brand materials previously, collaborating with the marketing team, from LinkedIn posts to longer form content.
  • You have experience using Notion and loom or similar platforms, to share playbooks, best practice and provide training.  
  • Ideally you will have worked in a startup or scale-up environment and be flexible in your approach to work as you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that span the people and talent space.


Salary:

The salary range for this role is £45,000 to £55,000 per annum pro rata. Please note that this role is offered an a fixed term contract basis.
