We are currently recruiting for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join the theatre team at a prestigious private healthcare provider in the Beckenham area

The main duties of the Senior Theatre Practitioner role include:
- Provide secure and high-quality patient care during the perioperative phase.
- Assist in managing and organizing care within the operating department.
- Deliver excellent planned patient care during the perioperative phase, ensuring the team offers top-notch patient care through effective clinical and managerial guidance.
- Take the lead in delivering patient care during specified timeframes or surgical lists.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols as per policy and ensure all practitioners comply.
- Contribute to enhancing quality standards.
- Foster the development of skills and knowledge in oneself and others.
- Advocate for the adoption of best evidence-based practices within the individual scope of practice.
- Accurately apply legislation, policies, and procedures.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Practitioner registered with NMC or HCPC.
- Post-registration specialization relevant to the functional area, such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification for scrub leads.
- Completion of ENB 998 and/or mentorship training.
- Accredited or recognized anaesthetic course certification.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
- Proficiency in orthopaedic skills. • Qualification in mentorship.
- Attainment of ILM Level 3 certification.
- Prior background in working within an acute healthcare setting.
- Previous involvement in managing and leading clinical teams.
